市川の平屋 House in Ichikawa

敷地は住宅街の小さな公園に面する旗竿型の敷地でした。
敷地前面が接する公園との関わりをどのようにするということが大きな課題でした。
隣接する公園によって得られる視線の抜けとプライバシーの確保をどう両立するか。
ご依頼当初からクライアントもこの点に注目されていました。

この課題に対し、私たちは公園空間を建物内部に引き込むことを考えました。
引き込まれた公園空間は玄関土間であり、インナーバルコニーであり、サンルームであり、居室間の動線にもなります。南北の扉を全開すれば半屋外的な空間として公園と一体感のある開放的な空間として過ごせるようになっています。

サンルーム部分は公園から視線が通るため、プライバシーを確保するため将来的には建物南側に植栽を植える予定です。一方で各居室はサンルームに面することで明るさを取り入れつつ、公園からの視線は遮るように窓の位置などを配置しています。

サンルームから公園へとつながる景色が感じられる家となっています。

This house sits on a flagpole plot that faces a small park. We focused on creating a connection with the park, having an open view to the park while keeping the balance with privacy. We made a sunroom that faces the park so that they can enjoy the semi-outdoor feeling, which functions as an entrance floor as well as pathway toward other rooms. The sunroom is open to the park so a screen is needed to protect privacy, whereas the individual rooms facing the sunroom, to get natural light, are designed not to be seen from the park. The connection with the sunroom and the park adds a unique touch to the house.
