甲陽園の家 House in Koyoen

兵庫県の大阪と神戸の間にある、閑静な住宅街に敷地はあります。
敷地自体は、道路より3メートル近く高台にあり、建築主は開けた感じのイメージの敷地を探し求めて、この敷地を購入しました。
建築主の要望は、家に帰ってから、お酒が飲めるような、少し非日常的な雰囲気がある住まいを希望しました。
2階は眺望を楽しめる開放的な雰囲気とし、1階は落ち着いた土間リビングが中心にあります。
中央のリビング的なスペースの床を格子として、1階～2階に繋がりある住まいを提案しました。

This house sits on a plot that is 3m higher than the street, which we decided to make the best of. The client wanted a house with a special atmosphere, one where he can enjoy a drink after coming back from work. We used louver boards on the second floors to create a visual connection between the upper floor living room and the ground floor. The living room has a view and has a spacious feeling thanks to the connection with the ground floor. In the evening, the illumination creates a special atmosphere through louver floors.
