文の里の家 House in Fuminosato

この建物は、都市のような多様な居場所が点在する空間です。それぞれの場所が異なる表情を持ち、訪れる人々が自分だけのお気に入りを見つけられるような、そんな「たくさんの居場所」を提供します。高さへのこだわりと独創的な外観が融合した、唯一無二の建築です。

今回のデザインでは、4つのボリュームが2階まで伸びる吹き抜けを設けることで、開放感と奥行きのある空間を創出しました。それぞれのボリュームは適切な距離を保ちつつ配置されており、脱衣スペースなどの機能を持つ「路地」のような隙間が生まれます。これにより、横方向への視線の抜けも意識し、心地よい広がりを感じられるようにしました。


建物の高さを最大限に活かすため、道路斜線制限に対しては天空率を検討し、都市のスカイラインに貢献するようなデザインを目指しました。また、2階のボリュームは軒下から天井まで壁と同じ仕上げにすることで、まるで空中に浮いているかのような軽快な印象を与え、見る人に驚きを与える面白い外観を実現しています。

This building offers "many different places to stay," scattered throughout the space like a city. Each place has a different atmosphere, offering visitors many places so that they can find their own favorite spot.
This unique architecture combines our special attention to the height and the distinctive exterior appearance.

Our design features four volumes extending up to the second floor with an atrium, creating a sense of openness and depth in the space. Each volume is placed with the appropriate distance between them, creating "alley-like" spaces that serve as functional areas, such as a changing area. This also ensures clear lateral visibility. Openings, intermediate spaces, and plants are placed beyond the "alley-like" spaces, creating a pleasant sense of spaciousness that connects to the outside.

To maximize the building's height, we carefully determined the sky factor to qualify for the exemption from the road setback regulation, aiming for a design that would contribute to the city's skyline. Furthermore, finishing the second-floor volume with the same material as the walls, from the eaves to the first floor ceiling, gives it a light, airy impression as if floating in midair, creating an intriguing appearance that catches the viewer's attention.
